Advanced Electronics Remote Display Terminal MX-5010

The Advanced Electronics MX-5010 is a Remote Display Terminal designed to replicate the main fire alarm panel, allowing users to view the system status and notifications. These remote terminals utilize the same graphical LCD user interface found on the MxPro 5 series fire panels, operating on advanced flash-based microprocessor technology.

Communication between MxPro 5 panels and remote terminals is facilitated through the same 2-core network cable. The integral network interface includes a special screen termination to prevent mains frequency earth-loop currents between network nodes.

The Ad-NeT network operates as a true peer-to-peer system, supporting full cross-panel reporting, control, and cause-and-effect functionality for up to 2000 zones.

All remote terminals feature buzzer mute, view, enable/disable, and test facilities, along with dedicated system and navigation keys for straightforward user control. Display information is fully programmable by individual zone or sector, capable of showing any combination of fires, faults, pre-alarms, or plant alarms. For instance, it can display all information in its own sector but only show fire signals from other sectors of a building.
